| Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I know if I need new gutters?
A: The following are things that may indicate that your gutters need replacing:
* Leaky joints, miters or end caps
* Gutters are sagging or pulling away from the house
* Missing or disconnected downspouts
* Blistering or peeling paint
* Shingle, sheathing or siding decay, especially at house corners
Q: What is the right price for new gutters?
A: There are many variables for us to consider when pricing a job and each project is unique. For a commitment-free quote, please contact our Sales Department at (908)320-0352 or by e-mail at sales@imperialseamlessgutter.com
Q: What can I do about mildew or moss on my siding or fascia?
A: The first response should be to have your gutters inspected and, if necessary, replaced. In the interim, most home improvement stores sell a mildew cleaner that can be applied with a sprayer. Additionally, remove excessive plant growth around the base of your home as this traps moisture. Have a landscape professional examine your site to see if it needs to be graded away from the house. French drains may also need to be installed to draw away precipitation once your gutters have been replaced.
Q: How often should I clean my gutters?
A: Gutters should be cleaned at least once in the summer and twice in the fall. However, by choosing one of our leaf guards, you can virtually eliminate the problem of clogged gutters.
